Tingiri Handmade Colors was born from research into natural pigments and the chromatic traditions of Sicily. Each watercolor is the first device of a system that integrates materials, design, and cultural identity.

Every Tingiri watercolor is born from hand-selected pigments — minerals, earths, and materials of the Mediterranean transformed into artisanal color.
Painting is not just a gesture. It is a return to the origins.
Tingiri was born in Sicily, amidst intense light and colors that seem to have come from an infinite palette. "Tingiri" in Sicilian means to paint.
Each color is handmade, with care and passion. We do not produce simple artisanal watercolors — we create tools to tell stories and emotions, with natural pigments from the heart of Sicily.

What are Tingiri handmade watercolors?+
Tingiri watercolors are handcrafted in small batches using selected natural pigments. Produced in Catania, Sicily, they are designed for artists and illustrators looking for intense, luminous, and authentic colors.
What ingredients do they contain?+
We use pigments of mineral and vegetable origin tied to the Sicilian territory. Our watercolors are cruelty-free and not tested on animals.
Can I use them with normal paper?+
We recommend specific watercolor paper (at least 300g/m²) to achieve the best results. On lighter paper, the colors will still look beautiful, but the sheet may buckle.
How should the watercolors be stored?+
Tingiri watercolors should be stored at room temperature, away from direct heat sources. If they dry out in the container, just add a few drops of water to reactivate them.
Can I order a single color loose?+
Yes! You can purchase each individual color separately from our collection. It is the ideal way to expand your palette or replace an empty color.
Are the watercolors suitable for beginners?+
Yes! Tingiri is suitable for both beginners and experienced professionals. Their good solubility and vibrant colors make them pleasant to use at any level.
How long does it take to receive my order?+
In Italy, delivery takes 2–5 business days. For international shipments, delivery times range from 5 to 10 business days.
