Tingiri Handmade Colors is born from research into natural pigments and the chromatic traditions of Sicily. Each watercolor is the first device of a system that integrates materials, design, and cultural identity.

Each Tingiri watercolor is born from hand-selected pigments — minerals, earths, and materials from the Mediterranean transformed into artisanal color.

Tingiri was born in Sicily, amidst intense light and colors that seem to have emerged from an infinite palette. "Tingiri" in Sicilian means to paint.
Each color is handmade, with care and passion. We don't just produce artisanal watercolors — we create tools to tell stories and emotions, with natural pigments from the heart of Sicily.

What are Tingiri handmade watercolors?+
Tingiri watercolors are handcrafted in small batches using selected natural pigments. Produced in Catania, Sicily, they are designed for artists and illustrators looking for intense, luminous, and authentic colors.
What ingredients do they contain?+
We use mineral and plant-based pigments tied to the Sicilian territory. Our watercolors are cruelty-free and not tested on animals.
Can I use them with regular paper?+
We recommend specific watercolor paper (at least 300g/m²) for the best results. On lighter paper, the colors will still look beautiful, but the sheet may buckle.
How should watercolors be stored?+
Tingiri watercolors should be stored at room temperature, away from direct heat sources. If they dry out in the container, just add a few drops of water to reactivate them.
Can I order a single color individually?+
Yes! You can purchase each color separately from our collection. It is the ideal way to expand your palette or replace a finished color.
Are the watercolors suitable for beginners?+
Yes! Tingiri is suitable for both beginners and experienced professionals. Their good solubility and vibrant colors make them pleasant to use at any level.
How long does it take to receive the order?+
In Italy, delivery takes 2–5 business days. For international shipments, times range from 5 to 10 business days.
